Pilates je vadba za vse, ki želijo v prvi vrsti izboljšati svoje počutje, odpraviti bolečine povezane z držo in vsesplošno okrepiti svoje telo. V prvi vrsti zajema vaje za krepitev malih mišic trupa, ramenskega in medeničnega obroča. Vadba poteka na blazini s pripomočki ali brez, ob umirjeni glasbi in natančnih navodilih.
Vadba je primerna za vse starosti in spola, ob predhodnem posvetu z inštruktorico pa je primerna tudi za rehabilitacijo po različnih poškodbah in po nosečnosti.”
  •  Pilates ali kontrologija je vadba, ki celostno obravnava človeka, njegovo fizično telo povezuje s psihičnim zavedanjem in pravilnim dihanjem.
  •  Vadba črpa iz številnih področij, iz joge, atletike, gimnastike, tai chija, itd ter spretno na unikaten način, človeka in njegovo zavedanje telesa postavi v ospredje. S pravilnim ponavljanjem vaj in vstrajnostjo izboljšuje, v prvi vrsti, splošno počutje, zavedanje lastnega telesa in njegovo zmožnost za samopreseganje in nenazadnje, odpravlja bolečine in neprijetnosti, ki nastajajo zaradi nepravilnega ali napačnega načina življenja, zaradi številnih predispozicij.
  •  Pilates je način ljubezni do samega sebe, vrača gibljivost, nudi moč znotraj telesa in na svoj  osvobaja, s tem, ko nas najprej nauči, kako pravilno dihati in kako je ta naš prvi pozdrav s svetom postal “samoumeven”, zaradi našega načina ali sloga življenja.
  •  Vadba je pestra in raznolika. Vaje zajemajo različna področja in stopnje zahtevnosti. Vadba je načelom zasnovana, da stremi k progresiji, a je hkrati dovolj fleksibilna, da se prilagaja stopnji pripravljenosti in zmožnosti vadečih.

Pilates is a type of workout that fits anyone who wishes, first and foremost, to improve their well-being, eliminate posture-related pains and generally strengthen the body. It primarily includes core muscle, shoulders and pelvic area muscles exercises. It is performed on a mat with or without various pieces of equipment and is accompanied by soothing music.

The class is suitable for all ages and genders. Provided the client consult with the instructor before joining the class, it is also appropriate for rehabilitation after a number of injuries and after childbirth.

  • Pilates or Contrology is a workout that treats a person holistically and links their physical body with mental awareness and proper breathing.
  • The workout draws on many different fields – yoga, athletics, gymnastics, Thai chi, etc., and skillfully and uniquely placing the individual and their body awareness at the forefront of its philosophy. With correctly performed repetitions of exercises and some perseverance, it improves your well-being, your awareness of your own body and its ability to transcend itself. Finally, it also eliminates pain and discomforts that develop because of various predispositions or an unsuitable lifestyle.
  • Pilates is a way of loving yourself, restoring your own flexibility, finding strength within the body and, in a way, liberating yourself. By teaching you how to breathe properly, it alerts us to how this, our first contact with the world, has been taken for granted because of our way of life.
  • The workout is extremely varied. It covers different areas and levels of difficulty. In principle, it is designed to strive towards progression, but is flexible enough to be adaptable to the level of physical fitness and ability of the participants.
